RIDING LESSONS
We're excited to announce the start of our Year-Round Riding Lessons, beginning on October 7, 2024!
Our program is designed for students ages 6 and up, with tailored lessons to help each rider grow in skill and confidence. (Ages 6 & 7 will do lead line only lessons)

We offer a range of personalized riding experiences from Monday to Wednesday. To ensure the best possible match for your schedule and goals, please sign up with your preferred lesson type—private, semi-private, or group—and indicate your available time slot preferences. Once we receive your preferences, our team will contact you to confirm the slot that best fits your needs. Whether you're a beginner eager to learn the basics or an experienced rider looking to refine your skills, our dedicated instructors are here to provide a supportive and enjoyable riding journey.

Each Thursday evening, we invite you to join us for Fellowship Night—a special time for worship, devotionals, games, and community-building

Riding Lessons Start October 7, 2024

Lesson Schedule:

Monday to Wednesday 

Lesson Times each day: 

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

​Thursday Fellowship Night from

6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Per Lesson Rates: 

-Private 1 hour lesson: $50​

-Semi-Private 1 hour lesson (2 riders): $45 

- Group 1 hour lesson (3-4 riders): $40 

- Private 30 minute Lead Line Lesson 

      (Ages 6 & 7): $40

 

*Each lesson hour includes time for grooming, saddling, and unsaddling your horse. This ensures you have a comprehensive experience, learning not only how to ride but also how to care for your horse.

Important Information and FAQ's​​​​

  • Rider weight Limit 220 pounds

  • Maximum of 4 students per lesson group

  • Helmets are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. A staff member is required to check that it meets our safety requirements and is not expired. Bike helmets are not acceptable 

  • Limited Supply of Boots available to borrow (socks required)

  • Long Pants required

Do I have to be a Horsemanship Club Member to take lessons?

Answer:  No. Our Horsemanship Club gives you lots of great benefits, but you can take lessons without being a member. You will get quality instruction geared toward advancing your riding and horse knowledge with any of our lessons. We do encourage membership to save money on future camps, get a curriculum for you to take home, and much more!

Do you have to be a Horsemanship Club Member to attend our Fellowship Nights?

Answer: No. All of our riding lesson participants are welcome at Fellowship Nights.

Do I have to sign up for an entire year of lessons?

Answer:  No. You can sign up for as many or as few lessons as you like. All you need to do is communicate with our staff for sign ups and we will accommodate you the best we can.

Do I get to choose the horse I ride?

Answer: We do our best to accommodate request for specific horses, but we cannot always make them work. 

​

Can I request to ride with a friend?

Answer:  Yes. When you fill out the lesson request form, there is a space to put your friend's name. You will have to choose a semi-private or group lesson. We will do our best to accommodate all request.

Fellowship Ride Registration

CANCELLATION POLICY

If a lesson is cancelled by a participant more than 24 hours before the lesson, the participant may transfer the funds paid for that lesson to the next scheduled lesson. Money cannot be refunded. 

 

If a lesson is cancelled by a participant less than 24 hours before the lesson, the money paid is non-transferable and non-refundable. 

 

If a lesson is cancelled by Canyonview staff, money paid for that lesson is refundable and/or transferable.
